Not A Good Day!

While watering the front garden I looked at the car on the drive and thought the lights were on, difficult to tel with sunshine. I checked and they were on, tried to start the car and found I had a flat battery. I must have inadvertently switched them on when I went for the papers. Panic mode set in, OH away. I rang son in law, he came round and sorted me, put the car on charge for me and said he would come back later.
Later on I decided to water the plants on the rear patio. Had to change hosepipe over. Pulled it off the tap and whoosh! I had forgotten to turn the tap off first. I got absolutely drenched, had to get completely changed and use the hair dryer.
Also patio door was open and carpet got wet too.
Now they say it comes in threes, so what will be next I wonder.

A while back before we got an outside tap I attached the hose to the kitchen tap and went outside to water the front garden, the hosepipe was dancing about in the air spraying water all over the garden, next door's windows and path. I was horrified and got soaked trying to catch the hosepipe which to do first? - run back in and turn the water off or catch it, and water the garden as if nothing had happened I did the latter but I bet the neighbours were having a laugh. The poor old dear next door thought it was raining.
