I have an Acer 7540 & a couple of the keys have come loose.
I thought they would just snap back into place but they don't.

Can anyone provide me with simple help on repairing the two buttons?

This website wants to sell you replacements for broken keys but (since you've still got perfectly good keys anyway) the instructions might still help:

I dont know if this will help you.

Thanks to both of you for the link.

I'm a bit inept with these matters but I'll try.

Thanks again
I got fed up with one of the keys on my work computer so I bought (got petty cash for it) a secind hand key and no longer does the J suddenly come off.

Repairing one key is a pain in the ar**... Seriously, it will stress you out!

Spend £11 on a new keyboard and replace the whole lot, those little "deckchair" keys are a *** to repair.
