Having yearly blood tests done tomorrow morning as I'm on B.P tablets. They check liver, kidney function and cholesterol. Having a meal out tonight and would love a few glasses of wine. Do you think this would have any effect on results or should I abstain?

No, I think that would be fine.
Many of the tests that you describe give a picture of health in the last six months of your life, not the last twelve hours.
