A cat person or dog person? Don't answer until you've taken the test...;-)

Definitely cats. Would love another one but OH won't allow it because too sad when they die ;-(

Had 3 over the years. The first one reached 16. The second one only 8 [he died of feline aids] and the last one 14 [his organs just packed up]
Woof!

I had expected to get the third option though.....boring :-)
It's not that I don't like dogs...they don't like me [they sense my fear ] and over the years I have been bitten several times...
woof woof
I knew anyway, but I'm a Dog person. Although I do like Cats as well.
I am a dog person but Mr Cake isn't. I could possibly break his intransigence but we would need to live somewhere where the dog could live outside and that doesn't suit our current house.

I have a steely determination to get my way in the long run though.......
Awaits induction of doggy to the Eccles household............

I'm a cat person, through and through. Although I love my mate's border collie who is very very clever. I couldnt do the quiz, like Retrochic I stalled on the answer as to where I would prefer to poop.
Barmaid, as you are about any thoughts on a chook who has gone from broody to moulting and without finishing moulting back into broody?

I don't want to throttle her but her coop buddies sure do!

I'm reluctant to dunk because of her moulting so it is all a bit of a kid gloves situation......

Suggestions appreciated.

Sorry Pasta :-(
Can you exclude her from the nest box? I wouldnt dunk her cos it is painful to handle them when they have new feather growth. Increase the protein in her diet to promote new feather growth and try and keep her away from the box - she wont look after herself whilst she's trying to hatch. Stupid friggin birds.
Cat person, which is true but love dogs too... love seeing those folk carrying little plastic bags with 'em happily picking up warm excrement.
Thanks Barmaid, I had until recently a rodent cage that was useful as a broody box but it was reclaimed by the owner. I am trying to ensure the others are happy and contented whilst making sure the broody *** is accommodated none too comfortably. I just feel mean handling her too much when she is still moulting.

I would go shopping but all the suppliers are on the wrong side of hellish race going traffic :-(

I have weakened though and bought her some meal worms to help her through this difficult time.

I'm such a sucker!
