I was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease in august 2013 Iam on 8x madopar ,1 x Ragasiline and 1x 6mg rotigatine patch per day. I have 3-4 of the major symptoms but thankfully no tremor, in the last 4-6 weeks I have been suffering a fair amount of pain in both hamstrings so I am stepping up my exercise/swimming to try and combat what could be P/D related rigidity of the muscles.
I recently read that COCONUT OIL is really good for relieving Parkinsons symptoms I have bought a jar today Does anybody out in A.B.land know anything about this discovery ? Iam very excited, can anyone tell me how and in what quantities to take it ?also any cheap sources as it is very expensive although I will gladly pay whatever it costs if all the benefits claimed materialise
I suggest reading through the threads linked from here, posted by (or answered by) PD sufferers: http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/search/site/coconut%2520oil You might also like to consider joining that forum yourself: http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/content/welcome-getting-started Asian grocers might sell coconut oil cheaply....
