Trip To Venice - Wowcher
Hi All,
I'm looking to go to Venice for 2 nights and I saw a holiday deal on Wowcher (please see link). When you tab down the option you can choose the dates you would like to go. I want to go on the dates of either 8-12 Aug or 15-20 Aug. Now, how can I check that they have flights on the dates that I want to go? And my friend read in a fine print something about if we don't find flights matching the dates that we want it's not their liablility.
I want to submit my holidays for work and I want to make sure that I get the days that I want to go.
Does anyone have experience in booking a holiday/trip with Wowcher and how it works?
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm confused as to how that offer claims that its discount is based upon original prices sourced from easyJet because easyJet doesn't fly between Stansted and Venice!
No airline flies from Stansted to Venice Marco Polo. Ryanair flies from Stansted to Venice Treviso, so I assume that's who you'd fly with if you took up the Wowcher offer.
Flying out with Ryanair on Mon 10 Aug (at 0620) and back again on Wed 12 Aug (at either 0950 or 2230) costs £49.99 each way.
Accommodation at a hotel such as the Hotel Villa Dori costs £18.09 pppn, based upon two sharing (and with breakfast available for an additional payment).
So that's £136.16 for your flights and accommodation. You'd have to pay for your transfers but they're not included in the Wowcher deal anyway. So, at the expense of not having breakfast included, you save £42.84 per person when compared with the Wowcher price of £179.00 per person for the same dates.
Do it yourself. It's cheaper!!!

(Don't let the word 'hostel' in the title of that website put you off. Just run a search for accommodation on your selected dates and then use the filters to restrict your search to 'Hotels' and/or 'B&Bs').
