I think Jo's right... the setter could be thinking of the lyrics rather than the song title... lyrics open with "When April Showers"

Thanks scorpiojo, I could only think that Wooden Heart was the correct letter count. A bit more info on the quiz would help.

Hi Jo x Strictly speaking you are correct the song title is April Showers...I've had a look and there are no Jolson songs with that letter count

AND...if I got that wrong my Dad would kill me, he knows all the Jolson songs and regularly sang them at the pub after a couple of :o) which regularly made me blush and wish he wasn't my Dad x

Sorry but I had no more info, the title was Spring Quiz, split into three parts - General Knowledge, Flowers & Shrubs & Songs with number of letters for answer. Thank you to all for your interest x
