Can anyone explain the workings of a dogs uninrary system? It fascinates me, how when I take my dog for a walk, he has always got enough pee left to have a sprinkle on the tree of his choice even though he can be out for hours on end. Where does he get it all from? Do dogs have extra large bladders?

If he's like my dog and has a huge teritory to mark out and other scents to mask, I think its very carefully rationed out. I know what you mean always a bit left just in case. Last week my leg seemed to get mistaken for a tree by someone elses dog.

My late-dog and I used to wander for miles, towards the end of the walk I was sure that nothing was coming out, but that didn't matter to him.

I think that male dogs are born with trigger-leg syndrome, as soon as they see a tree or lamp post their leg muscles start twitching.

I am dogless just now, I have got a fiendish animal called a cat living with me. They are fantastic company - dogs that is, cats are strange animals.
