New Flowers

I have just bought a big hanging basket sort of semi bloom - this is what I wanted - all the flowers to be the same colour and they are lovely. However I am bad at looking after my flowers so how will I care for them - do they get a drink of water every day - will I buy miracle grow and if i do how often do I use that. Thanks

You can also get water retaining crystals, which swell and help avoid the plants drying out.
Cheapest I have found is at Poundland.
Ps don't do what I did and pour in loads - a little will do.

Hanging baskets have to be watered every day when the weather's hot and sunny as they soon dry out.

did the basket not come with a little plastic stiky in the soil thingy with plant care instructions on it?

no I know what you are talking about - I actually bought it from a building site from a wee man who grew them at home and just brought them into his job not thinking they would be sold.

Now this is going to be 3rd fly this afternoon to kill - I am tortured here in this computer room but I have a great swatter.

Also, you could use ice cubes, which slowly melt.

Conne don't forget to deadhead the flowers to ensure a longer growing cycle. Water every day, don't over soak them

You have to talk to them to make them flourish - talk to the flies to make them flourish - it was after my post re the flies LOL
