It's an absolute farce. The man clearly believes he's a special case and has convinced a gullible official that he is.
So what if he loses his job? He's been a knob and should be punished accordingly.
Maybe have the powers that be investigate the magistrate while we're at it, see if they're the full shilling.

Extraordinary story ! If I have read the link correctly, he was caught doing 109 mph, in a 50 zone !
This is clearly not right. I smell the rat of corruption here. I wonder if the Essex Police are allowed to appeal such a lenient sentence, as it isn't in their
interest, or ours, for somebody to continue to be a menace on our roads.
