I have bought a Sony Digital Walkman, and I have downloaded about thirty MP3's onto it.

I find the volume is very variable, and even on top volume (30) - it is not as loud as I would like it to be.

Is there a way of both standardising and increasing the volume, so I can have my volume set lower, and still have it as loud as I like it?

I have never used a Walkman. Nevertheless, I am wondering if what you require is to engage the equipment's 'Dynamic Normalizer'
