I know you advocate Ibrufen very much but when I go to buy it I am constantly reminded by the pharmacist - oh they make you ill, bad for your stomach etc etc. Are they that bad and if so why do they sell the things.

Any tablet.......any........aspirin,statins , antibiotics can have adverse effects, so if you want to be safe..........don't take them.

Taking tablets is always a pay off, between relieving symptoms and adverse effects.

Yes Ibuprofen like other tablets MAY causes side effects in a minority of patients.

They tell you that sort of thing nowadays so that you don`t go back and sue them if you start bleeding from your stomach.
