Good Morning Early Birds!

Thursday. We didn't get the heavy rain we were promised yesterday, just a couple of showers, of course I got caught in the worst one. It's looking somewhat better today. Not a hint of wind and it's a wee bit warmer.

Tiggy was out and about having a good rootle around the garden, He wandered off to the other garden he visits, was back about an hour later. I don't put his supper out until it's dark enough for the crows and gulls to be settled for the night, otherwise they scoff it.

maybe start the grass-cutting cycle later this afternoon, definitely tomorrow, it needs some more drying out.....have to borrow minty's or bath's hairdryer.

Morning all, just checked to see if I was dreaming but I see there is 2 morning threads.

I will cut mine tonight after tea when it will be bone dry..south facing lawn...got rid of the wee bit out front with my new gravel garden...

It'd have to be some hair drier! :o} I might get some of the weeds that have sprung up on the rain out. There again I might not!

We got rid of all the grass a long time ago.

that's what comes by removing the grass - too much time and double threads.....

It's just as much work getting the weeds out. It's too rocky to go very deep, so can't put in enough gravel to keep them down. can't win, can you!
