Bradford Riots on TV last night.

Decided to post this here as opposed to TV. I think this programme was the best piece of propaganda the BNP could wish for. I can not believe it was made by the Asian community.

It showed that muslims and the rest of us are poles apart and portrayed them as evil fanatics who take every opportunity to defy the morality and decency of the UK.

Does anybody agree?

I thought it came across as pretty fair towards the Muslim community and the police, and the BNP didn't have a character to defend themselves (not that I believe they should at all).

I certainly don't think it showed Muslims as 'evil fantics', if anything I think it showed the opposite, in how the actions of a few can affect the views of the majority.

I enjoyed the programme. Was it not the NF that they were referring to? What they never mentioned at the end was that a lot of the sentences were reduced. But the level of voilence and destruction that was used justified severe sentencing to act as a deterant.

I disagree. I didn't see the programme but its a bit of a generalization to make and tar all muslims with the same brush because of what happened in Bradford.

The riots started because of poverty and isolation/segregation in this particular area. It hasn't happened anywhere else.

From my wide experience of living near Asian communities, they are isolated because that's how they want it to be. I haven't seen any real evidence at all that they want to integrate.
