Just to kick it off :
My children are happy.
My (our) diet doesn't start until Monday and we are gonna have the biggest film, grub feast known to man :)
My Dad , who has had a major op and who is really going through the mill , hopefully now will have some pain relief which works and peace cos I love him and it's been tough and we love him...it's that simple plus Mum hasn't had it easy at all x

Ive been decorating my mums bungalow today, started at 8 this morning and finished at nine tonight (and im knackered) just had a quick bath and logged on to see if theres anything of interest. SO....Three Positives About Your Life?...
1) My mums still here after her cancer op a couple of years ago
2) I might be a bit limited workwise but Im always in demand as a painter and decorator.....nice to know that youve got a skill that others want (not just my mum obviously)
3) My bath. Might seem a bit strange to some but after been in the nick a few times, the one thing I missed most (apart from my freedom) was been able to have a long soak in privacy rather than having a lukewarm communal shower with a bunch of sex starved prisoners ;-) )

Being 'that way inclined' I had to work to think about the positives, but :-
1) I have 2 wonderful daughters (1 is a bit of a pain emotionally but is giving like mad and supporting special needs kids) and 3 intelligent, achieving grandchildren who will contribute to society in their turn.
2) I have changed (for the better) the lives of many children who I taught in school and/or coached in athletics (I gave Jessica Ennis her very first high-jump lesson on a 'try it' day at the Don Valley Stadium - she was lovely, all bouncy and smiling).
3) I have helped a lot of elderly people to manage to live in France and coaxed them into becoming at least basically competent in the language and - as an offshoot to France - I met and married Mr. J2 who was plodding along in loneliness since the death of his wife and is now happy and cared-for.
