Ususally pharmacies open urgently - this is a Bank Holiday here in Belfast. I am looking for one - they sometimes open 12-1pm. I can't seem to find the roster - anybody help me please Thanks

lol eccles, if xmas day and boxing day where on sat/sun, the bank hols would be mon/tues, same thing is applying here

Perhaps I don't understand Irish Fluff. I get what happens at Christmas with the rollover of holidays but why is the dentist open?

Bank Holiday was 13th (Mon)
So, why BH today, (Tues), I'm interested?

The 12th fell on Sunday. They marched on Monday and wanted Tuesday to recuperate.
That's just my opinion. I'm not privy to the thinking of the Brethren.

at Sandy - I do know Boots are open but the pharmacy from me is in town and also they do not supply what I was looking for - they have their own brand and I don't like them.

Dunnitall - if you read my title - I hadn't time to go into details as some of the pharmacies on these days only open for may an hour and half. Sorry if you are confused.

Private dentists can do what they want - more money - wouldn't be too sure if NHS dentists are open today as doctors are all off too.

They could also celebrate Bastille Day today, 14th July, with a couple of more days off, which would have to be Wednesday and Thursday - might as well make a whole week of it and be done !
