Mobility Scooter

A scooter, according to my source, is kk motosiklet, while a wheelchair is tekerlekli sandalye.

while there are several translations of invalid:
hasta, sakat, hkmsz,geersiz

I find nothing for mobility scooter, which, I'm assuming, is one of the electric scooters for semi-invalid or non-ambulatory persons... Not much help, I'm afraid...

I have asked my Daughter - in - law who is Turkish and she does not know of a word for them. She is going to ask her mother, who is still in Turkey if she knows a word for them. Other than that I have found the same words that Clanad has given.

My mother has one of these scooters, but simply refers to it as "Scooty". I'd never heard the term "mobility scooter" before, so I'm not suprised you can't find it in a Turkish dictionary. The best I can offer is a description rather than a translation:

"Yaşlı yada hasta insanlar iin drt tekerlekli elektrikli scooter", or "four-wheeled electric scooter for old or sick people". I don't recall having encountered one of these vehicles in Turkey, but if the person you're talking to has seen one, they should know what you're on about.

Best of luck and iyi yolculuklar!

"ya da" should be two words - affedersiniz!
