The only reason he wasn't sent to prison 70 years ago is that he wasn't tried in a court of law, despite there being plenty of evidence that he should have been. But he has now, and nobody is saying that there has been a miscarriage of justice.
This guilty man has had a life of freedom for all of that 70 years, which is something that was denied to 100,000's of other completely innococent people.
