Two Strikes And You’Re Out On The Carrying Of Knives.
26 Answers
A previous post was on the killing by stabbing of an elderly gent, will this latest mandatory “two strikes and you’re out’’ minimum six-month prison sentence for carrying a knife, be one way of cutting down the number of knife carriers on our streets?
And how will it be implicated, by also increasing the number of stop and searches? Well and we all know how some can get so upset at the mere mention of that.

Blade length 2 1/2"max. No rigid blades or lock knives. Folding pen knife ok and old army jack knife which I always carry. Overall length not a problem as long as the blade when opened up doesn't exceed the above.
No knife can be carried as protection or used as such even if it comes under the approved criteria. Unless the law has changed since I last read it.

"There is a big difference between a fruit knife, a penknife and the other sorts."
Indeed there is Jourdain2 and it's easier to pick on two innocent travellers having a snack than confront a real danger to the public.
That type tend to roam the place during tea breaks, apparently.
In any event it's just more bottom burps from the terminally incompetent, never going to happen.

As I live about 6 mile crow flight from Brixton I find your observation very surprising as Operation Trident was set specifically up to combat black on black killings not white on black killings or to use your words "savage on savage killings"
Not sure if this link may contradict your observations but please provide your evidence.
