Had a phone call from the key tag company. Someone had found his keys. They gave me his name and phone number. I rang him and he lives locally. He had found the keys at the bottom of our road where I hand made a sharp right turn. So that's where they fell off the spoiler. He brought the keys to the house. Nice chap, thanked him, tried to give him a bottle of wine but he wouldn't accept it.
OH is a lucky devil. That saved him a lot of money, remote keys cost a packet nowadays.
Wonder what he is going to get up to next!
A good driver would have managed to get home without causing the keys to fall off !
Only joking ... I found a phone last year and tried to contact the owner by dialling 'Home' which I found in the address book. After getting no reply having made a few attempts, I then phoned ..'Mum'.. big mistake, all I got was an ear bashing from the owners mother for using her sons phone and wasting his credit !
Canary I didn't se the rear of the car as I had to reverse out of the drive.
Not for one moment did I think he would be so irresponsible as to place keys and cigarette case on rear spoiler. He had never done it before. He was also standing on the drive when I got in the car. In fact he waved me off as I went!
lol Caran, that's we men for you....has he ever left you behind in a service station and driven home, knowing that he had forgotten something, but what?....I know someone that this happened to.
