Magic Number

I admit to being very old fashioned when it comes to relationships and have only had a couple of serious ones. My magic number is therefore very low- which I'm fine with as I have no intention of sleeping with someone unless I'm madly in love with them. Thing is, I can't understand people who have high magic numbers. I just don't get it. This chap I like seems to have slept with loads of women, done just the once, a regular one just for fun bunk-ups and has only had a couple of actual 'serious' relationships. I find this off putting and a bit yucky. Am I completely out of touch? I'd be interested to know your magic number and if not yours, your opinion would be interesting!

I don't think we can compare ourselves to anyone else.

For some people sex is important only as part of a loving relationship - for others it's like an itch they have to scratch.

It is for no one to say who is right or wrong, just chose your partners accordingly.

I have never heard the term 'magic number' and I do not think many others have. You will get more replies if you just ask straight out 'how many sex partners have you had?'

I've only ever had 4, husband probably 40 or more, mainly one nighters -he was a real tart in his youth, doesn't bother me as sleeping around was never appealing although the offers were always there so was the thought that you were cheapening yourself. Different generations perhaps.
