When I checked my credit card statement to see what I'd spent £1.84 on at Amazon it described the merchant as "Retail Fireworks, Trophies, Gravestones" so I looked it up on my Amazon account to find it was a packet of poppy seeds I'd bought! How on earth did my credit card company come to describe the merchant as such?

They must have smoked a few before describing it.
It must be a great company that can supply poppy seeds, fireworks, trophies and gravestones . . .

. . . along with web-hosting services in the UK
http://www.unitedforums.co.uk/vb/general-chat-lounge/14393-hi-uh-can-i-order-gravestone-trophy-lots-fireworks-please.html
. . . disc golf products (whatever they are) in South Carolina
http://killerbdiscgolf.blogspot.co.uk/2011/01/new-at-store-fireworks-and-gravestones.html
. . . and totally unidentified $10 products elsewhere in the USA

(It actually comes about because Amazon uses the US Department of Labor's classifications for its vendors. Anything allocated to code 5999, which is 'Miscellaneous Retail Stores, Not Elsewhere Classified' gets shown in that way).
