The problem with such insurance is that you can't always remember every single medical condition that has previously happened to you and the insurance companies use that as an excuse to get out to paying up.
When i looked at the question i thought it was me that posted it .i went to thailand at xmas and slipped a disc and had it removed in bangkok(by the way hospitals in bangkok put our health service to shame). I had a back op 10 years ago and i never declared it on my proposal form,When i had to claim i was worried about this, but it turned out not to be a problem as i had'nt been to the docs in the previous 12 months about my back problem and i wasn't on a waiting list to see a consultant and insurance paid in full. Any questions just reply to this post . good luck
