alternative sites are scant consolation when you have spent months getting on the leader board! i have been monitoring this since Saturday, when (I think) the site first went down. This thread is the first blog I have found to identify this as a global problem.
Saturday was also the day when Google Chrome and other browsers blocked the use of Adobe Flashplayer, which caused problems all over, but I can't see how this is related.
Assuming the site is gone forever, I now need to find an alternative to their Extreme Sudokus, so will try dannyk13's suggestion .....

I normally work on the advance sudokus and have escalated this recently as I plan to be offline for a week or so next month. If the site ever comes back up, they will either have to clear the leader boards or freeze their records at the date the site went down.
Meantime I am using http:// www.web sudoku. com/ (as recommended by wired). The problem here is that their 'evil' level is somewhere between 'tough' and 'diabolical' on sudoku.org.uk so no real challenge!
If you get any news, please post it ....
