I know how to do a link on here via my Windows laptop but how do I do it on my Android tablet?

You've not said which browser you're using.

Try 'press & hold' on the relevant URL to get to a 'Copy' option and then 'press & hold' again, within your post, to obtain a 'Paste' one.

The same way as you do on any PC.

Just write the link address correctly in the post. You may need to ensure you start at the http..... point for it to be recognised ? If you copy it from the browser address pane it should be fine. Try a space of CR/LF after too in case that is causing an issue. I don't think it is needed but ....
