uif i want to use an online video in quick time or media player.. the only way i can think is to print screen and paste it into paint. However when i do this the area where the video was appears as a solid black rectangle. Is there any other way to take screenshots of online media ???

There are various screen grab programs avaliable. When you press print screen I think it just asks the applications what its displaying where as these screen grab programs go straight to the video card/shipset and get it from there. So have a search on Google for Screen Grab or Screen Shot
