So the witch hunt starts - well society needs a scapegoat otherwise society itself goes on trial (Kelly/WMD in Iraq for example). err... sorry has to be a question dunnit? in that case - are we doing the right thing by putting him on trial?

My response - the poor man i bet he never wanted to go on the stand in the first place.................
This man cannot simply be allowed to walk away from this - his 'expert' testimony has ruined already damaged lives beyond repair. The arrogance of opinion meant that no-one was able to challenge is word - which has proved to be entirely without foundation - not a difference of interperetation - just wrong! He must be seen to be punished, that's what justice is all about.
