Professional Negligence, I Hired Him In Uk, Do I Take Him To Court Here Or Cyprus Where His Company Is Located?
2 Answers
I hired an "Internet marketing coach/mentor". His advice was awful and it was clear 1. He did not have the time to help me. 2. He had no intention of helping me establish a successful business. A website was promised. None after 3 months. I arranged verbally with his Pa 2 conditions: 1. that he would read all my ebooks. 2. He would give me email support in additional to 12 months skype coaching. Both conditions broken. I did not get the skype coaching agreed as he hid his face in the skype calls. There was no contract. I got an invoice from his company in Cyprus saying "11,800 pounds received for 12 months coaching". He and his company are resident in Larnaca Cyprus. He trades in London twice a year. I hired him in London.
He told me my domain name was worth $10 million. I believed him and then spent 3,000 pounds on a worthless domain.
I want 11,800 pounds back plus the 3,000 pounds I wasted.
I got 3 months of rubbish coaching and then he threatened me when I complained about his appauling service. Then he stopped replying to my emails. I think he has done this to many people in UK. I want my money back and to stop him doing this to others.
The 12 months is up in FEb 14. He stopped ALL COMMUINACATION AFTER MONTH 3.Do I take him t o court in London or Cyprus and what are my chances?
