I have had a couple of treatments on my lower leg and the hair that does come through is sparse and very fine.
It hurts and is expensive, but is most certainly worth it.

Years ago I managed to burn my underarms using Immac cream. It seems that the cream melts/burns the hair to make it dissolve - but that skin is made up of the same basic components. So there is the potential for problems.
I really didn't like the cream, using it for the correct length of time meant that it didn't really work. But leaving it on for longer meant my skin was red or sore. And I don't have sensitive skin.
