I read the first chapter, published in the Guardian at the weekend. I liked it and will buy the book, eventually.

Not got my hands on it yet, but have heard a few excerpts and they were very compelling writing. A few criticisms about hiccups in style have come my way - but I am looking forward to reading it. It is hard to think of Atticus as having feet of clay.

I work in the book section of one of our biggest supermarkets - and every single copy has been recalled due to several printing errors. It won't just be in Asda either - it will be the whole print run. Thank goodness I'm not that proof reader!
