A Problem Occurred With This Webpage So It Was Reliaded

I am getting this a lot and it is annoying.

When it happens when I am writting a post, all the words disappear and I have yo start again (or more often, just give up). I have not had it on any other websites.

I am using the latest Safari on iOS 8 on iPad.

Is IOS8 the latest version of not try the upgrade which might include a fix

I have exactly the same set up as you Gromit and am having the same problem. It's so frustrating especially if you have taken a lot of time and trouble to type something and then it just disappears. Perhaps somebody will come up with a solution, fingers crossed.

iOS 8.4 is the up to date version. Safari also the latest version.

I am assuming it is something to do with adverts on the site. I am loathed to block them because that is how the site is financed, but it appears they are breaking the site.

I access the site equally from a kindle fire hd and a pc and don't get this issue. Would it be worth someone trialling a different browser to see if there is any improvement. I don't use an ad blocker on my kindle

AS UKB effectively suggests, simply switching to a different browser might be the easiest way forward. (Dolphin is probably the most obvious choice).

I realise I'm late to the party on this - but hopefully Gromit will spot the reply.

I use Mercury Browser to access AB on all apple devices - it's free and quick and simple.

It has an ad-blocker extension which is very easy to switch on/off - I leave it off whilst reading AB (seems only fair), but switch it on whilst typing/posting replies to avoid the problems with reloading pages.

I have the same problem and either the computer locks up or when I try to send an e-mail and have typed a few paragraphs the words disappear. Tried using word to transfer into e-mail but the words appear as well. Are there gremlins on the line I wonder !!!

Thanks for all your answers. I have now learned that AB loads 77 pieces of SpyWare when you click on an AB Page.

All that junk slows down the pages and costs me money to download. So reluctantly, I have installed an AdBlocker and my problem is solved.
