Why does she have to make idiots out of us oldies?
Been retired a good 20 years always been a busy person, cope with most things life throws at you, but just lately the old devil is making my feet stick to the floor when I walk, every bone and bit of flesh hurts just about all day and half the night.
Arthritis needs a kick up the b u m...I resorted to getting myself a scooter to get around but even that is now an effort to get out of the car and put together.
Are you related to Peter Pedant Retrochic?, that was his very sentiment expressed last night - anyone in dreadful pain (yes, me too) is entitled to a moan.
But I will not and shall not turn this into a competition.
With a poorly husband and five replacements since retiring you've not had it easy and are entitled to a bit of a moan, Cupotee......you do it rarely and your humour always shows through.....
Post...moan....chat and have a bit of banter when you need to.....Gx
No its not been easy. The 6-8 years before I retired were pretty hard going but I kept going as best I could. Pain is pain what ever age and where ever you feel it but its not a competition.
My job entailed helping others less fortunate.
Not too bad here today Mamyalynne..no rain so far but its windy and gloomy. I've not had to go out today which is a bonus.
Did I say the Op was not entiltled to a moan? I even signed off 'young(ish)
moaner.
Some people on here seem to be so bored they will pick a fight with their shadow.
