same with fil...although I was inconsolable ..he was at peace

long time ago now....1989....am considerably older than he was, colon cancer got him. He used to joke about going of the big C - "drowning?" "No, cancer...." - you to have to keep some semblance of humour.

I feel so sad that he had to travel to Switzerland, just for a dignified death. He is with his wife who did the same. May they both rest in peace.

80 year old customers of my sister's (Lord and Lady F) for 'fill your freezer' committed suicide togetherin the Lakes when one of them was diagnosed as being terminally ill. She had just moved down here, our comment, "Imagine the shock when they had run out of your pizzas, A...."

Yes, it was tragic, but rather moving and a testament to their love for each other.
