Is there a way I can block incoming e-mail from an address so as that person cannot send e-mails to my MSN Hotmail account?

Thanks in advance.

hey,

when you are signed in and are in your inbox there are two links in the top right hand corner one says options the other says help. you click on options and then choose mail options and then from there you choose junk mail protection a list of links will open choose block senders and this will allow you to type in the email addresses you do not want 2 receive mail from.

hope that helps and ive explained that ok i usually confuse people lol

Thanks clarebear.

Your instructions were perfect! :o)

Will the sender know they are blocked?

i dont think the sender would know they were blocked but im not 100% sure on that one, im not sure how it works but i think they can still email your address and it will still say sent but by you blocking them hotmail just stops it reaching your inbox so you never actually get their mail.
