Windows 10

I did some basic photo editing in Windows7 (creating a sepia print) and now I've upgraded to 10 I can't do the same editing which is frustrating as I need one more photo to finish off a seating plan. Any ideas please?

PS Also edited a photo and can't revert it to original. There used to be a nice little button that undid everything. I saved copy and came out of editing and it didn't save the original.

Which bit of windows 7 were you using for your editing if it was paint its still there just type in the search window on the bottom right of your task bar

Both Windows 7 and Windows 10 are operating systems. Neither of them can, in their own right, edit photos (or create documents, design spreadsheets or anything else). You need specific task-orientated software for that.

However Irfanview might meet your current needs best:

It's fully compatible with Windows 10. To create a sepia image you simply need to open your image then go to Image > Effects > Sepia. Job done!

Just for info Irfanview now comes with a warning that due to hackers it doesn't download properly from their website. Will try Serif from your previous post Buenchico.
BTW Was just using the basic photoviewer that comes with Windows 7 - the one that opens your photos. Not sure what it was called. I'm not great with all things technical so had to come onto here for help. : )

In W10 click on the Windows icon bottom left of the screen. You will see tiles that open programs when you click on them,
Click on the one called 'Photos' - you may have to scroll down to find it.

That will open the photo viewer and has basic editing, similar to the one in Windows 7

If you click the 'Download' link in the left-hand panel on the Irfanview home page, you'll see lots of places that you can safely download Irfanview from. As with any third party sites though, ensure that you decline any 'extras' (such as toolbars) which you might be offered.
