After doing a Factory Reset on the tablet it restarted and asked for Country and Time Zone. I selected the UK for both but am unable to get it to go any further. At the bottom of the screen is one blue dot which I have tried pressing and I have tried swiping but there are no options. I tried powering off and on but the same screen appears. Help please

Try a phone call to Lenovo UK Support:

May we ask why you did a Reset in the first place.
Try this - the rest seemed to send it back
Re: Lenovo Yoga 8 Tablet stuck on boot screen

Several posts on this forum had the problem with it stuck on the Lenovo splash screen and Fumangord1 on here mentioned

"If you hold the volume buttons in and hold the power switch it should give you the boot options. Select the recovery mode with the up volume button then press the down volume to ok it. Mine comes upo with the android icon and NO COMMAND."

Well, I tried this and got the same BUT went a bit further with it, just by pressing buttons in a random fashion ...

When the Android robot icon comes up with NO COMMAND, I think I then pressed the ON button and another Boot drop down menu popped up.

I think I tried this next bit twice, but can't remember which one worked, but just have a play with the new options to see which one works for you !?

First I think I selected the top one which is something like REBOOT and I then the second time I tried the bottom option which is something like WIPE CACHE and hey presto .. . it now works with every app and setting intact !

I'm only going by what I remember doing - it might not be quite right, but at least there does seem a way round the issue !

God know's why Lenovo themselves don't reply to these posts and tell us how to fix their bloomin' machines !!??

Good luck everyone !

Initially when I was on Kitkat 4.4 I did raise a log on here as I had something called MISC at 4.4 gb and the tablet is only 16GB. I turned it on and upgraded to Lollipop 5.0.1 & saw MISC at 1.1gb so thought this is a great version. After the new update some of the Apps did not work correctly even after uninstalling and reinstalling them. Finally my available space decreased to 2.0gb which I considered to be useless so thought I would try the Factory reset.
I contacted Lenova earlier today and he talked me through pressing Power and vol button in order to select reboot but same happened. He is arranging for me to send it to them to Reimage the device. I have just read the advise here and turned it on to try the various settings but none worked I do not get a Next option from the point of entering the country and zone but thanks for trying to help me
