Accomodation in Tokyo

Me and my partner are off to Tokyo and I wonder if anyone has any hotel recommendations. We are just there for 3 days so want something nice but not too expensive. We dont want to be miles out. Somewhere near nightlife/restaurants would be perfect. Tokyo is so big, what parts are the best for us to stay in?

Hi, before traveling Tokyo, I think it is best to learn first and familiarize its culture, their tourist spots, heritage there. So that you guys have already idea on where to stay, how to deal with them, etc.
