Love Banger Racing, me, and I used to be track snapper at Buxton. This is from a few years ago - I'm the one on the infield with the camera bag - and features a brutal crash at 1:22.
It's not for the fainthearted, but the driver walked away with barely a scratch.

Yep not the best looking cars was they.
I should imagine that the Mk2's should be pretty strong to, I believe they were on the same floorpan as the MK1.

You’re probably right, although I’ve been away from the tracks for a couple of years so I don’t what current bilge is. I suspect most are sticking to Volvos as they’re reasonably hard and so far not restricted by promotions. But these things go in cycles and I imagine MkIIs are getting close to retirement from the roads and ripe for the oval lads.
