thinking about buying one for home - child is 3.5 yo. The trampolines seem to vary hugely in price for the same size. Can anyone give any recommendations? What should i be looking out for? what size?
Bear in mind i would like it to last her some years!

also, can they be used on a slope?
I'd get it as big as you have room for and get a decent brand unless you plan on taking it down and putting it away every Winter :)

We have a 12 foot but DC are huge and whilst we have a one a time rule - that size is big enough for 2 or 3 little ones at a time.

If she is really only ever going to be on it alone then probably a 10 foot would be ideal though you would get away with an 8 foot. I wouldn't bother with the small ones.

I think decent makes are Plum, Supertramp and TP but you could look at some reviews. We have a TP one and it's been out summer and winter for 4 years now and there is barely any rust on the springs.
On a slope? NO!
I wouldn't put one on a slope.
There is a small amount of adjustment you could make to the legs on some, but really they need to be on the flat
'also, can they be used on a slope?'

Only if you want the little darlings launched into orbit ;-)
...unless they have very adjustable legs, that is.

i was hoping you could get ones with adjustable legs :)
Could you swap them for children with adjustable legs?
Question Author
hmm, i'm quite fond of the one i have already though
My child has 34 inch legs and they are still growing - i'd gladly have one with adjustable legs to make buying trousers easier.

thanks for your answers. its so confusing - they vary so much in price
This is an updated version of the one we have - we used tesco vouchers on double up so ended up costing very little actual money - also got some money refunded due to the late delivery and the state of the box on arrival.

If you are not sure how much she would use it, you could get a smaller cheaper version for now and look to replace it in a couple of years if you think she will get the use out of a bigger more expensive one

We went for one that was suitable for adults really as the boys are huge and have been adult size and weight since about age 10/11 (plus we wanted a go on it too!)

If it is really for wee one only then 8 or 10 feet and cheaper would be fine.
