I feel the need to ask does anyone object to me being a member here because I am welsh? There's a certain errm man here who has twice slated me for my nationality. Are there any other welsh folk here? I've been a member for just over 2 years but after reading 2 more racist and derogatory posts to and about me I feel I've just about had it. Im not racist in any way nor am I an "Old Welsh Hag":--)))

surely saying "old welsh hag" isnt racist? I dont know you at all, but of all the things to get offended by i would say old and hag would up there before "welsh" . You are welsh, therefore why is someone calling you welsh an insult?

Take no notice. My parents are Irish, and I've heard plenty of "harmless" Irish jokes. You just have to ignore it.x

I sincerely thank you all for your replies and support in answer to my question today. In today's world none of us need abusive and hurtful remarks thrown at us. I was actually in tears after reading that persons derogatory remarks about me once again but mainly for my son who is loved dearly by all of us, his family. Dot at 57 I dont think Im quite in my dotage just yet do you? kazza, you obviously have'nt taken the brunt of the racist's force. To him,all welsh people are sheep shaggers and peasants,he once stated that the welsh should be "Shot at birth" If thats was'nt racist what is? Once again, I thank you all xx

FINA, i never got to read WMs original retort, (i am happy about that as i don't want to read such bile) I am so sorry that you have to put up with crap like that. No-one deserves that. Rise above it because in my eyes you are one hundred times the person than he ever will be. I got the gist of what he said, and responded on his apology, which seems to have been removed. My nephew also has Asperger Syndrome and is a wonderful lad who is now at college, and we are all incredibly proud of him! To me, its takes a special kind of person to care and look after someone with special needs.How dare he ridicule that? I would say HE is the one with the defective gene, the one that controls intelligence. WM is ignorant and doesn't deserve air space to spout his vile.I would also like to point out to WM that children with learning difficulties are born to people with breeding and money just as often as they are born to ordinary peasants, as he calls us!!!!. Take a look back through history!
