Les Mis

Decided to listen to Les Mis on TV tonight whilst accessing AB.
As usual the opening bars of "Bring Him Home" had me in floods. Am I the only one?

Had expected to really love this as it's my friend's all time favourite musical (and she's a very regular theatre goer), but in all truth, it absolutely leaves me cold.
Songs from the 'Lion King' on the other hand, have me reaching for the tissues...

You're not alone Daisy, that song does the same to me and I've no idea why! Even made me cry before I had even seen Les Mis.

Bring Him Home is a beautiful song as is I Dreamed a Dream from the same musical.

No - Jamie, our star tenor in my French choir used to solo this and I could only prevent myself from crumbling if it was a concert night and an audience was watching.

It has to be Colm Wilkinson for me........he was in the first performance I saw and I think it was the first time I cried in a theatre.......he gives me goose bumps.....♥
