I do! They are particularly good to pass a long car journey (e.g driving down France) and will keep the kids quiet too.

What have you got against audiobooks? If you don't like books turned into tapes, there are also taped versions of radio shows to try. Just because you listen to audiobooks doesn't mean you can't read as well.
