Cup Of Tea.

My husband is always moaning that i don't drink a full cup of tea. No matter how big or small the cup i will always leave about 2 cm in the bottom. I am not sure why. Does anyone else do this?

Leave the last drop for "fear of grouts" as my nan would have said ...

I never drink it all - or coffee. I don't know why.

I never leave tea in the bottom of the cup, it'd be akin to leaving wine in the bottom of a glass.

Oh I always finish a glass of wine.
Yes I don't drink any more of my cup of tea or coffee once it has cooled. Red hot or not at all and sometimes that means I leave most of it I'm ashamed to say. A few of my friends only make me half a cup but same rules, as soon as it cools I leave it.

If its hot and I can drink it in more or Iess in a few mouthfuIs then I drain it, but I can't abide tea that's been stood standing so I tend to ieave about a third if its gone off the heat. AIso I am a dunker so there is often bits of soggy biscuit in the bottom.

I always leave a wee drop too, maybe its the ingrained habit from the days of tea leaves, but more often its because I've let it go cold, always finish coffee though
