How do I find a good reliable Digital Printer?

I'm about to start up my own small business. I need letterheads, business cards, a mailshot etc printed. You'd think it would be easy to get quotes wouldn't you. Out of the handful of people I've contacted so far, two got back to me calling me by a different name. Most quoted on things I hadn't asked for, ie brochures instead of postcards, two sides instead of one. Not one person sent the samples I requested. Several were try it on expensive. I thought work was supposed to be hard to come by these days. I know how to put a print quote spec together, everything was perfectly clear. Do people simply not care any more. So if anyone can recommend a small run reasonably priced digital printer who gives a damn I'd love to know. Preferably one they've used rather than my being contacted by Printers direct. I live in Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border, but of course it doesn't have to be a business in that area, anywhere in the UK is OK as long as they care about the work they produce. Thank you.

I haven't personally had any dealings with them, but our Parish Magazine is printed by them, and I understand that they are very efficient, extremely nice to do business with and give good value for money.

Sorry for multiple posts! We use them every week and spend a lot with them! Excellent service and professional advice. They are printing a job for me on Monday actually. Ridiculously tight deadline. 150 a5 booklets 8pp needed Tuesday pm. I'd normally allow 3 days to print and they are doing it in less than 1!!!
