Wheelers + Dealers?
i quite like this show on the discovery channel. but they made a big boo boo the other day. as usual they had to search the planet for a particular car, eventually found " an Austin Heeley frog eye" gave it the complete works, inc a complete paint job. when it came to selling it, there was 1 huge oversight!! they forgot to include the convertible roof, the old knackered one was still in place!! what was the excuse??? of course the price had to be reduced significantly.

I enjoy the program but there are obvious faults about the format - I read online that the cars are found by the Production Team and the purchase is normally filmed using a member of the team or friend or relation - so that part of it is fake.
Then Edd China does a shedload of work (with the help of assistants - no doubt!) which would add up to thousands if it was costed out!
Then the car is sold for a couple of quid profit - balmy!
I've got an idea - why don't they cut out the ridiculous 'Wheeler Dealer/Del Boy' cobblers and just find classic cars and let Edd do them up properly - showing common problems, techniques/tricks of the trade etc - sounds good to me!
