Renault Modus
I purchased and fitted the front and rear brake discs and padson my Renault Modus 54 plate. Since fitting I have had an intermittent alarm on my dash saying braking fault and the stop light comes on. The car will still drive and the light will go off, the brakes are noit affected. Ive had the brakes checked and they are fine front and rear, would it just be a fault that needs to be cleared on the diagnostic machine?

Ah the modus automatic gearbox problems,= overheating /bad solinoids, everything is designed so you have to take it to the dealers at vast cost ,change a headlight bulb requires taking off the front of the car off and wheel arches, electrical steering if that goes its mega expensive and requires re coding, just fit new rear discs =not that easy or cheap as you need to fit new wheel bearings and new ABS rings ,heater motor problems, uneven tyer wear, electrical faults by the score ,windows drop down, but don't just take my word for it Google modus problems and then go to the Renault forums and look through them , I know I bought one for the wife , buy yourself a Honda civic instead !
I bought one of these things for the wife I bought new rear pads + discs fitted with bearings and ABS rings when I fitted them I made sure to clean the sensors and all around the back plate ,result was no problems and no digital flag ups ,but bleeding the brakes was difficult I had to go around twice !
