My boundaries with my wife(before she left me) is not having opposite gender gender friends because it leads to nothing besides trouble.I think it's good wisdom not to have friends of the opposite gender after marriage.I don't allow my wife to text another man unless they are family members and I don't allow my wife to email another man unless they are family members.I don't see what's the point for married people to have any kind of friendship with someone of the opposite gender outside of family members.

Totally daft - I have a very close friend and she has always been there for years....we share an awful lot - her husband has always let her do this as it's totally platonic, always has been and will continue to be so..
Hi, Minty.....give the gorgeous Mr Minty a hug from me......♥
It's a pointless question. People have friends of the opposite sex they never have affairs with and also some that they might. They also might have affairs with people they've never been friends with and they might not ever have affairs at all. The 2 are not connected in the slightest.
Naughty, gness, minty's washing machine will be running later!
I have only read your title faco21 (far less any other answers), but I think any problems that may have arisen are flagged up by your use of the word 'allow'. I will now read your full post and the answers.

The previous thread by this poster was sufficient for me, and the postings by JO then, and now, were sufficient for a line to be drawn - NFA
