She recounted how about 30 years ago she opened the door to Mr Prescott in some office and she had not seen him before and he pushed her against the wall and put his hand up her skirt. this is not from someone who was squealing for some money, she is currently a senior official of this govt and she was also named. Lefties here on AB and maybe JNO who is so quick to jump to Prescotts rescue (you really should stop reading poetry now) may wish to trawl through this weeks Times.
Besides if The PM thinks that his deputy does a great job of keeping his party together why should we the taxpayer pay for it?? Blair was always a unscrouplous man, many on this site have recounted events and past mistakes of this man, but he is such a glib talker that many have been fooled. He is dishonest and a war monger who will do anything to get his way.
Tony Bliar is stuck with him, and in spite of his many faults John Prescott still has many friends and supporters who prefer his brand of politics to the rubbish that we have to tolerate nowadays.
As I've said before im a conservative voter so I have a vested interest in this discredited bunch leaving office ASAP, however, I think that blair is scared of prescott, because he (JP) as been an MP for decades he knows things that could really be a pain to the govt.
One thing I dont understand is, if Prescott is the deputy prime minister, shouldnt he be the PM when teflon tony stands down? I mean thats what deputies do isnt it? why is it automaticaly assumed that brown will be the next PM, shouldnt the party members have a say or has it been "rubber stamped"? thats not what I call democracy
