West Mersea
5 Answers
I spoke to a woman from West mersea yesterday where I was organising a visit and she said it depends on what time I came but the tide might be up and we might get stuck there. As far as I can see this is part of England and not an island. Is there anyone that lives in West Mersea or nearby that can tell me, do you get stuck there if the tied comes in? Must be bad if you do, it looks a tiny place.

On Mersea there are several pubs to while away some time if you do get stuck, and theres one at Peldon just before you cross to the island. Theres quite a useful link, with info about Mersea and most importantly the tides, and if they are going to cover the strood!
