My printer is an Epson XP-215 and will have to look up how to install the printer if thats whats needed hope it does not take another 1.5 hourd. Off for lunch now so will attack the challange after that

Thanks to all
Assuming that you normally connect your computer to your router by cable, you don't need a USB wireless adaptor in the computer. The printer communicates with the router via WiFi , not directly with your computer.
For info, the Epson XP-215 printer support website is:-

https://www.epson.co.uk/gb/en/viewcon/corporatesite/products/mainunits/support/12299

Try selecting the option 'Epson Product Setup' which will provide a download option of the necessary Setup files, that hopefully will automatically assist installation and configuration of your Printer and XP Computer print settings:

I believe the actual Product Setup Download File location is:-

ftp://download.epson-europe.com/pub/download/3803/epson380397eu.EXE
